The first speaker built and discussed is called 'THE BULLET 1'. We want our speakers to be blindingly fast.

We wanted to see what would happen if you took some of the best conventional drivers on the planet, combined them with the best crossover parts, and encased everything in 200+ Lbs of 1" MDF, and a  3/4" T6016 Aircraft aluminum baffle/faceplate. What we heard before serious crossover tweaking was breathtaking. Now the fun begins.

This website will chronicle the building of our no-holds-barred speakers. The speakers will have no proprietary information concealed; no secrets or ideas withheld. We will tell you exactly what we are doing and why. This first speaker will be ‘amplifier’ specific. This means the speaker was built using the output impedance of our reference amplifier as a guideline. We did this to optimize box ‘Q’ and crossover configuration. We will build a speaker based on your listening priorities, and tastes. This first speaker is designed specifically for OTL tube amplification. Our goal is to build a speaker which is detailed, and articulate. We like to 'see' the guitarists fingers on the strings, the background singer move their head, and all sorts of unheard of treasures deep in the grooves. This type of sound will offend a lot of people, we don't care. We want to hear exactly what is going on in an album. Our critics will say we are too detail and articulation orientated.,,,,,,,,,, nice!. Tubes CAN give you this.
